The Johannisberg Appeal
In search of a prudent energy policy for Germany
Federal Initiative “Vernunftkraft”, Berlin
February 27, 2016
Today the energy policy in Germany is based on the illusion that the supply with energy can be ensured by deploying the presently known techniques of wind and sun use. But the intended energy turnaround is not to be supposed to go easy on environment, nature, and landscape. Also it is not supposed to achieve necessary innovations. In fact, it is even not supposed to primarily produce energy. Rather the impulses of acting are economically and ideologically induced.
The Johannisberg Appeal marks the solidarity between citizenhood and science. Pausing and thinking are right now in demand.
